The British Association for International and Comparative Education (BAICE) Annual Conference 2008 will be hosted by the Department of Adult and Continuing Education, Scotland.  In this conference the theme of internationalisation and its multiple meanings wil be explored for governments, universities, futher education providers, schools and other education agencies.   To what degree is internationlisation merely a convenient label for the commercial exploitation of education? The course explores key elements in designing efficient, equitable and financially sustainable population policies and reproductive health programs in the context of health sector reform and Millennium Development Goals. After attending the course, participants learn to recognize how the changing international and national policy environments affect their work in population and reproductive health and to identify the linkages among health, gender and poverty.
