Cultural Policy in the European Union

In May 2008 the European Commission established a structured dialogue with cultural civic society in EU member countries about cultural policy. One of the strands of this dialogue has been on Access to Culture.    PASCAL Associate Henrik Zipsane has been Chair of one of the working groups and a Board member for this strand. The working party chaired by Henrik has been concerned with Learning and Access to Culture.    Policy guidelines from this strand are now being forwarded to the EU Director General on Education and Culture.

Henrik Zipsane is organiser of the next PASCAL annual conference on Heritage, Regional Development and Social Cohesion, to be held at the Nordic Centre of Cultural Heritage Learning and Jamtli Museum, Ostersund, Sweden from June 22-24 2010.
