Brussels PURE Gathering - 8th to 9th February 2010

16 hardy souls braved the chill of Brussels to meet for two days and to discuss the progress of PURE to date and the future expectations and direction of the initiative. In contrast to the outside temperature, the discussions were warm, friendly, open and supportive. Much was discussed, much was mooted and deliberated and all attending felt that progress was made - a progress in discussion which will be backed up by progress in the field. A report will be produced in the near future by Chris Duke, PURE's Academic Director and this report will be featured on the website. several questions will be drawn from it and these will also be featured on the website in order to stimulate discussion within regions and on the website itself.

Our sincere thanks are extended to Kent County Council and its staff in the Kent Brussels Office for their support in providing a comfortable and spacious venue and courteous and supportive assistance with any requests.
