Dr Ron Faris has been monitoring global reform of education
and training systems (and associated national commitment
to lifelong learning policies and strategies) for over
a decade, with a special focus on nations with a shared
British education and training tradition. He has been
researching, teaching and consulting on learning communities
(villages, towns, cities and regions) and community
service-learning in Canada and abroad. He is President
of Golden Horizon Ventures, a consultancy focused on
lifelong learning strategies, global training reform
and interactive learning technologies.
